Vancira (pronounced van-SEER-ah), Lord of the Sea, viewed as the most cunning of the siblings. Known for his ability to control the waters that surrounded the world of Edalon. His bright blue eyes became the tell tale sign of those that were descendants of his followers. Showing their keen eye, sharp mind and quick reflexes. His skill with a sword was only dimmed by his skill with a ship. The natural abilities he showed in reading the sky and knowing exactly where to go. While he was as passionate as his twin brother, he fought hard to keep himself under control. His greatest fear was letting go and being ruled by his passion.

History

Mortal

Recruited first by his older brother, Henat, it was his passion for Edalon and winning the war that brought his younger brother Marig to come and fight alongside him. Even La'Kata saw to aiding him for a time. Vancira was considered overly likeable and hard to hate by those that truly knew him. He was quick to protect those he fought alongside and would lay his life down for the man to his left or right. It was his pure heart that truly caught the eye of Riguna. Her hunger for more only spurred their connection and drove them to meet as often as they could. His love for her grew quickly, as he watched jealously rise in his brother's eyes. Kenutat saw to it that Vancira was blessed, the second of his siblings to rise to his deity status. (It is believed that La'Kata actually rose first, the Vancira, Marig, Henat and Riguna shortly after her.)

Godhood

Vancira could not find a place to settle down, as his heart was for Riguna and the sea. He would often be found on the large vessels of the ocean, sailing from one continent to the other. His goal to return with treasures for his beloved. His followers took up residence on both main continents, with main cities of Hrisin and Nenvan. It is said that Riguna loved both cities so much she blessed them with great victories, because of her love for Vancira. It was during his journey's that he saw the great fires raging in the south of Ubros. When his vessel arrived, the forest had been burned to dust and the fire was quickly moving north. With pain, he flooded the Southern tip of Ubros. Watching with pained eyes, as the waters receded and the fires were quenched. Many believe, the fires were a ploy to bring Vancira away from his journey, and that Marig stole away with Vancira's love. Other's say that the fires burned so hot because of Marig's heart ache from his loss. Regardless the tale, Vancira was last seen sailing North to Nenvan, but he never arrived. The power of the waters rising and crashing to the shore created chaos on the land of Ubros. Volcanic eruptions caused mountains to burst forth, forever separating Marigau from the Shenta Swamps.
